calendar scripts

Hi all,

Recently designed my first website (yeah!) using FP 2000, and am looking for a
calendar script or program that would integrate well and fairly easily, as I am
a total newbie and know NOTHING about programming.

Ideally, it would be something that would allow users with different permissions
to enter data (including the event name, category, time, place, etc.)and
generate a calendar that could be seen in different views (day, week, month,
etc.) You could link from an event listing to a more complete description.

I am looking at calendarscript.com, and it seems to meet most of my needs except
you can't sort or filter by category. (This is not a major problem, just
something I'd like.)

If anyone has experience with this program -- or any other suggestions -- please
share.

Can one create levels of permission so users may input data using this
program? I too am fairly new to this and am very interested. I need a
calendar program that allows users to input names.
