Calendar share doesn't work

Setting up calendar share in Outlook 2000. Works good on other computers.
Using a Win98 as orginator and a WinXP as the other unit. The 98 will send &
receive and post on its calendar. The 98 will send to the XP and I can see
the XP receive folders from the 98, but the XP will not post the events in
the calendar. The folders received on the XP are then deleted just like the
98 does. What is wrong that the XP will not display the received calendar
events from the 98?
