calendar share - Outlook 2003

steve

1) am trying to view a shared calendar through an Exchange Server.
The request comes back with the message, " The connection to the MS Exch
Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this
action".
I know I am connected to the exch server as all my emails are routed to me
w/o issue.
2) Conversely, I am trying to share a calendar from my "online" profile.
Although I have given "reviewer" permissions to specific people, no one is
able to obtain data from my calendar....although the share does appear on
their pc.

3) Is there any way to share a calendar between an exch server profile and a
non-exch server ?...previously done using Outlook 2000 and Net Folder.

On the right-end of the Status Bar at the bottom of the screen in Outlook
does it say "Connected?"

Is your default delivery location set to your Exchange Mailbox or do a
Personal Folders file? (Tools | E-mail Accounts | View or Change E-mail...)

3) Is there any way to share a calendar between an exch server profile and

See if this helps: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm

`Are you using the exchange mailbox or a PST for your email? tools, email
accounts, view or change accounts... see what is set as the delivery
location.

hi ben ...thks for the quick response
1) yes, the status bar does show "connected"
2) default mail delivery is to Exchange mailbox

Preferably, i would like to work thru an "offline" mailbox...I currently
transfer all incoming mail on the Exch mailbox to an "offline" inbox.

I have perused the slipstick website...all seem to be based on a per license
user fee....and may ultimately run into a "corporate policy" road block.

Diane..yes, the mail delivery location is set for exch mailbox.
I have moved all my shared calendars from my offline mailbox to the exch
mailbox...other's seem to be able to see my shared calendar..however, I still
can't open other shared calendars.
