Hi all,
I guess this may have been discussed before but I only found out a short
time ago and thought it was a bug on my end to begin with.
I have a work laptop on which is a work related calendar that I have been
publishing to Microsoft calendars online so I can then get it on my home
computer and check it. I can only edit it from the laptop but I can view
what I am up to, the next day, while at home.
Recently, I couldn't upload to it nor download at home from it. So I went
through everything, deleting the calendar and attempting to share again and
all that to no success. I followed help links to Outlook 2007 shared
calendars on the Calendar section at Microsoft and they say that what is
being discontinued is the ability to alter the calendar through logging on
with a web browser due to Outlook 2010 coming out soon. It said that Outlook
2007 upwards can still use the function and only alter from your computer's
Outlook. Unfortunately I cant do that. I can add a calendar ONLY if I click
on CHANGE ACCOUNT under Internet Calendars and enter the same username and
password that have always been there but I cannot view it using my Outlook
2007 at home. It just will not connect. Then, disconnect from Internet and
logon again then try to update the calendar on the laptop and it wont do it
and I have to start all over again, deleting the calendar, etc etc.
Does anyone have any way that an Outlook 2007 calendar can be shared,
anymore, without access to Exchange? I need to be able to publish and update
the calendar on my laptop and then view it on my home computer. That's it.
Thanks for any help.
