calendar sharing

Is there a way in calendar sharing to notifiy me when someone else puts an
appoitment in my calendar

Aloha Bob,

Instead of having them add the appointment directly to your calendar have
them send you a meeting request. You'll "Accept" the meeting then you'll
now and it'll be on the calendar.
