Calendar Shift problem

Hi,

I have several resources who work in a shift systeem. This means that they
work
week 1 : early shift (for example 06:00-14:00)
week 2: day shift
week 3: night shift and so on.

I can create 3 base calendars with the appropriate times. When I assign one
of those calendars to that resource, it changes all the weeks to that
calendar. What I want to do, is to to assign that calendar only for a
certain week.

Do I have to give the times on a day per day basis for that resource (which
means a lot of work) or is there a possibility to assign that resource to a
base calendar for only a limited time period.

Hi Peter,

Sorry to say so, but I believe modifying the calendar is the only answer.
If you have several resources who all work the same shift rotation, you could
create that base calendar (modifying it for the shift rotation) and then
assign that base calendar to the resources.

To the best of my knowledge, there is not a way to assign a base calendar to
a resource for only a specific period of time.
