Bill
I'm attempting to selectively "quasi-synch" my office and
home calendars for certain meetings/events.
Office: OL2000 SR1 CW on Exchange for Corp functions.
Home: OL98 CW but using only an Internet Mail account
(different email ID/Address than my Corp email).
Situation:
1. I create a meeting on my Office OL and also invite my
personal (internet) email ID, which is in Office OL
Contacts, as an attendee.
2. Office OL emails the invite to my personal email (yes,
the email is in RTF).
3. Home OL receives the invite via the Internet Mail
account. I right click the message, choose accept, and it
looks to function "normally". But it does *not* create
the calendar entry on Home OL Calendar.
4. I send the response from Home OL to Office OL and it
appears normal. Office OL Calendar shows the Home invitee
has accepted the invite.
5. All looks as expected on the Office side but Home OL
Calendar is still blank where the meeting entry should be.
Same problem occurs in reverse when the Inviting side is
the Home OL and the receiving side is the Office OL.
Resolution?
Since I'm only trying to ensure selective
meetings/appointments appear on both calendars, I don't
want to do full *.pst file copies between the two OLs.
Suggestions please.
Thanks -
