Calendar Symbols

Stewart

I need some help identifying what the current symbol on my
outlook calendar means. I have a recurring meeting, which
i have been invited to. If i go into the single day
view,or week view i see the 'bell' and the 2 arrows
pointing in a circle (which typically means recurring
event), but this time the circle with arrows has a LINE
through it. WHat does the symbol mean?

Thanks,

Stewart

It means that although this occurrence of the meeting was originally part of
a regular recurring cycle, someone has since made a change to the occurrence
so it doesn't quite match the rest of the pattern. For example, if you
create a recurring meeting and it always has a reminder of 2 hours, but then
you change today's occurrence so it only has a reminder of 1 hour, you'll
see the recurring symbol with the line through it on today's calendar.
