Calendar View Disappeared

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

When I used to go to my Inbox, I had a mini monthly calendar view on the toolbar column to the left at the bottom. it would highlight the day and I could scroll month to month. Somehow I deleted it. I cannot figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions?

Click on the little triangle at the bottom left corner.
