Calendar View (using resource in date range) displaying other mont

I have set up a custom calendar view with a filter applied "USING RESOURCE IN
DATE RANGE...".

The good news is that Project is filtering out everyone but the selected
resource and it is filtering out tasks outside the date range.

The bad news is that it still displays and prints the months outside the
date range. It just prints empty calendars for the time period outside the
date range.

I want it to display or print ONLY those months indicated in the filtered
date range.

Any suggestions from the all-knowing-project-gods? :)

Hi Joel,

If you click on the Print button in Print Preview, you can choose to
print just a specific date range instead of all dates in the timescale.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

I wonder if that would be better than actually putting the date range in the
filter. If my people are going to have to enter a date range anyway, why
force them to enter it twice?

What you both have suggested sounds like a practical idea. Once again,
thank you for your help.
