Calendar won't display appointments

I am converting my home email (POP) from Outlook 2002 over to Outlook 2003
by moving items from one PST to another. To move the Calendar items, I
changed the view to View | Arrange By | Current View | Events so that I could
copy the items from the old Calendar to the new one. Now, nothing displays
on the new Calendar when I change the view back to Day/Week/Month.

Even if I try to drag an area of the Calendar and create a new
appointment, I can type everything in but the item ends up being an entry on
the calendar at the exact timestamp that I entered the appointment instead of
a graphical box covering the time slot I drug (or typed in).

What do I need to click to get the Calendar to display appointments like a
basic simple calendar should do (appointment time blocks, dates bolded for
ones with entries, etc).

If you think I took the wrong approach to migrate items, point me towards
the right steps. This approach worked for everything else (messages, tasks,
etc.)

Right click on the calendar folder and select Properties, then folder size.
If the size seems correct, then check your view of the calendar. If the
items actually moved, then I would create a new mail profile and configure
it to use the current .pst file - you may have done something to corrupt
your profile.

Otherwise, try displaying your old calendar by categories and then using
drag and drop after selecting all, drag them to the new calendar Folder (not
the calendar) and see if that works.

Thanks for the input Milly.

I read another article on this site which guided me way down into the
settings where I found that View | Arrange By | Current View | Customize
Current View | Fields | and the values for "Start" and "End" were set to the
same value which was "Created" instead of "Start = Start" and "End = End".
How something could get that messed up is a bit disappointing because I had a
fresh install of Outlook 2003 with a fresh profile right (I deleted the old
one) before I went into migrating from the old PST to the new. In another
case, my Deleted Items folder does a preview when I just check Messages and
it won't do a preview when I check Messages with AutoPreview (backwards).

This problem is similar to one I had trying to get rid of the "Group by"
function in all of the message folders where other posts in this forum lead
me to that set of menus. Someone also mentioned a command line that could be
used to reset all of the folders to the installed values. Hours of messing
with menus and all message folders has eradicated most of the Group Bys ...
maybe.

How easy would it be to go back and remove the customizations from all of
the Outlook folders and set them to their original values and then just make
the fewest number of changes to Globally remove things like Group By in all
message folders or set things like the Preview window? Is there a KB article
on how to do this?

My expectation is that the calendar would look and function like a
calendar, message folders would do the same, etc. but the key is that I would
loose no information in the transition. Then I could make a minimum number
of edits to affect a global look and not have to mess with settings for every
new folder I create.
