How do I make my calendar the default opening when I start outlook (instead
of opening to email)?

There should be a setting for that here: Tools menu > Options > Other tab >

I have a similar request, how do I pin the "calendar only" to the Start menu
I am running Outlook 2007 w/ Windows 7 ....I think you can pin a Outlook
shortcut to the desktop and then pin it to the Start menu , but I only want
the Calendar at Staretup...

Set Outlook 2007 to start in Calendar.
Tools-Options-Other-Advanced Options-General Settings and change the "Start
up in this Folder" to Calendar.
