How do I create a Calendar in Project which will be variable on a weekly
basis for a period over 6 months?

What do you mean "variable on a weekly basis?" Do you mean that the hours
are different each week? If so, go to Tools, ChangeWorkingTime and create a
new calendar, perhaps as a copy of your existing Standard calendar. Go
through each month in turn, selecting the days in each week and setting the
hours to what they should be that week. Do you really have resources whose
work hours vary from week to week like that?

No I meant that the number of days will vary from week to week.

You'll have to go month by mointh, selecting the days that are non-working
and marking them such with the little radio button on the upper right and
the days that are working and marking their hours. You can select more than
one day at a time by holding down the control key while clicking on the days
you want to add to the selected group but you will have to do each month
seperately.
