Calendarized Tasks View: format not working

OL2002 on XPPro

When I view my tasks using the built-in "calendarized tasks" view, the
automatic formatting doesn't work. (That's true for the built in formats
like "overdue tasks", "unread tasks", "completed tasks" and so on as well as
for any custom formats I create.)

So all the tasks appear in regular tahoma 8 pt black, regardless of status.

All my tasks have beginning and ending dates.

Any ideas?

This is in a day/week/month view? What kind of formatting do you have in
place? Did you try creating some that uses the color labels?
