calendars have disappeared

New user though I have had the program for some time-- came with MS Office.
Started the MS Outlook online training today and did not get far ... the
instructions say to click the "DAY" button on the toolbar to get a day view
of the calendar. There is no "DAY" button on any of the toolbars, visible or
hidden. In fact, there is no longer any calendar of any kind in any view. I
swear that I just made a calendar a week ago and printed it out-- am looking
at it now.

Either I have turned off or deleted a whole lot of calendar features or the
gremlins have got me. Thank you in advance for any help unless your
suggestion is to uninstall & reinstall in which case I will put my fingers in
my ears and say "la la la la la" until you go away.
