Calendars

I am currently using MSP2003. I have base calendars for different groups of
people in my project. Once I set the resource to a base calendar, is there a
way I can determine all resources that belonged to a given base calendar?

Also, is there a way I can set changes on a main base calendar and have it
reflected on calendars that was based on the main one? A form of inheritance
for the calendars? This is so that if there's a company holiday, I don't
have to go to every base calendar and put it in.

Thanks!

Hi,

There are only two levels and no inheritance so you do need to repeat
holidays in all base calendars unless you write VBA code to do it for you.

Select View Resource Sheet. There is a Calendar column that shows what base
calendar each resource is using.

If you create additional *base* calendars from a main one and subsequently
change the main calendar there will be no inheritance. However, if you
designate a base calendar for a set of resources and then change the base,
the participating resource calendars derived from the base will reflect that
change.
