Outlook 2003:
I would like to schedule an appointment at, say 10:00, but also have the
calendar include an hour of "travel time" before it and after it that
everyone else would see as "not schedulable". I always have to put in
little "fake" additional appointments around the real appointment to
accomplish this (or a second big appointment). I would rather have the
single appointment say "10:00" if that is the time of the appointment but
have a cushion extension that I control that would be part of the one entry,
and not have all the additional clutter.
In the same light, if someone else schedules a meeting, I might like to have
a "cushion" of 15 minutes around that meeting to prevent someone from
scheduling another meeting right up against the first, to ensure that I can
make it around the office on time, have time to check phonemail, etc.
Again, I'd rather not edit every single appointment (which changes the time
of the actual appointment!) or have to add "fake" appointments around
everything to accomplish this.
Did a search for prior posts but didn't see anything relevant. Any ideas?
