calender: default doesn´t synchronize, added calender does

I have the strangest problem with my calendar-appointments and our exchange
server.

I work both at home and at the office. Appointments added at home
didn´t show up at work, but all appointments added at the office showed up
fine. (Contacts worked both ways.)

My solution was to add a new calendar to Entourage. It has the same path on
(to?) our Exchange server but - magic! - all appointments I add no matter
where get synchronized.

So now my problem is that I would like to get rid of the default calender
and set my new calender as default.

(And I would love to know why the heck this is happening ...)

Are you sure you're placing events on your Exchange calendar at home and
not your local Entourage calendar, which doesn't synchronize?
