calender is getting cleared while saving as .mpp

Hi All,
My client has reported this error
"When an Enterprise plan is saved as an mpp file, the Standard calendar is
getting cleared out – all public holidays are being removed. The Enterprise
calendar is not affected – just the one which is filed with the mpp version
of the plan. This seems to be happening to all plans.".
If any one has soultion it will be very helpful.

My question for your client, and it should be your question as well, is "Why
are you saving projects as .mpp files?" If your client is using Project
Server, they should be saving all of their projects in the Project Server
database, which guarantees that each project uses the enterprise Standard
calendar. Hope this helps.

Thnaks for your answer.
Well all plans are being saved in project server database only. but
sometimes they need to delete some project, so they take backup of project as
..mpp and delete original one.

When you save a project as an .mpp file, the file now uses the local
Standard calendar instead of the enterprise Standard calendar, since the
project is no longer an enterprise project. Hope this helps.
