Hello--
We have a weird one here. One of our administrative assistants has Send on
Behalf Of permissions for several managers that she needs to schedule
meetings for in Outlook. In her Calender Options she has the 'Use this
response when you propose a new meeting times' selected to Tentative.
Here is the issue: When she tries to invite an attendee on behalf of one of
her managers, the calender item disappears right before her eyes. As a
consequence, the intended attendee doesn't have the details of the meeting
and of course the entry never gets into their calender.
We are running Exchange 2003 on Server 2003 and all users are on Windows XP
Pro.
There is another administrative assistant that has the same issue when she
tries to invite attendees too.
The client said she used this same procedure with the same settings at her
old company and it worked fine. Also, normal calender invites work fine for
her own calender.
I have no idea even where to begin looking for the cause of this issue. Any
help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
sd
