Calender Outlook

I

INCOPLAS

I use Microsoft Outlook 2000.
In my calendar I put my appointments, meetings...
Some time before the meeting occurs, I get a reminder on my screen.
Even when I have pushed the "dismiss"-button, the reminder disappears
correct but appears again after a certain time.
How can I get rid of that without deleting the appointment in my calendar
and without quitting having meetings :)?
The reminder that appears is from an entry in the past. It's not an entry in
the future, always an entry in the past.

Thanks for your answer!

Try starting Outlook once with the /CleanReminders switch. If you need
help using Outlook command line switches, look here:

Jocelyn,
I have a question along this line about the reminders
coming up. I tried your suggestion and it did take care
of many reminders coming up on a restart. HOwever,
recently my reminders just sometimes quit appearing. I
used to could close Outlook and reopen and then a host of
them would appear. Now I have to restart my whole system
and several still appear. I have not changed any
settings and they always worked correctly in the past.
It almost seems this started after I downloaded an update
pak when prompted back in august. Any ideas.
