Calender Reminders are not working

I have a client that is using Outlook 2003 and his calendar reminders are not
working. What I have done so far to try to fix the issue. The option is
checked under Tools, Options, Calendar, Default Reminder.

Did a repair on Office 2003. Result: Did not work
Upgraded to Office 2003 SP1. Result: Did not work
Removed Office 2003 and renistalled. Result: Did not work. Even stranger
after I did this it kept his personal folders and his whole Outlook
configuratation intact to the way it looked before uninstalling. Usually you
have to set the user up again after you remove and install the product again.
It must not have cleared certain registry entries?

The next thing I was thinking of doing is deleting his Windows User Profile.
I really don't want to do that since their would be a couple of hours
reconfiguring all his other applications.

Any feed back is appreciated.

Thank you,

AJW

The simplest thing might be to start Outlook with the /cleanreminders
switch. This can clear a corrupt reminder which can prevent all reminders
from showing.

From teh command line type outlook.exe /cleanreminders

Patricia,

That did not work. Perhaps removing the mailbox and readding it may help?
Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I am having the same issue, however we migrated from Exchange 5.5 SP4 to
Exchange 2003 SP1. We found corruption in the mailboxes for rules and fixed
that with the mdbvu32 utiliity, but cannot find the source of the issue for
reminders.
