Calender reminders do not appear

We have put in a new server and have upgraded from
Exchange 5.5 to 2000. We copied everyone's mailbox to
a .pst file and put them on the new server via
import/export wizard.

However one person's calender reminders are not popping up
even if I put in a new entry. Nothing happens. I tried
the /cleanreminders switch and using the mdbvu32 utility
to see what is in the reminder folder. It is empty. How do
I get the reminders to appear. Do I need to add reminders
manually or is there a quick way? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.
