Call Contact and "create new journal entry.

Sometimes when I attempt to place a phone call to a
contact by clicking on the Call Contact button,
the "create new journal entry when starting new call"
checkbox is checked. It seems to only happen if I've
recently created the record. I can't find any place to
set the default to having the box unchecked and would
like to know how to change the default.
