call outs not printing text on some

M

Mary Ann Jacob

I have the task of redoing a manual with a lot of screen prints and call outs explaining them. I have been doing them in powerpoint and pasting them into word because that is what I was told to do. Most of them are ok but on an occasional print the text in the callout shows up on the screen but when it is printed it does not. the box shows and is empty. If there are, for example, 6 callouts with text, 5 will print fine and the 6th will be empty. Even if I delete it and recreate it, when printed it does the same. I deleted and recreated it in another position but still got the same results.

I'm going crazy. Please someone, help

Hi, Mary Ann. The best I can quickly offer myself is that you may need to
have all your resources available. To make sure of that, do as much as you
can of hard drive cleanup: www.theofficeexperts.com/cleanyourpc.htm and
even if you only clean up your temp folder and reboot. Also, make sure
you're printing to the *most expensive* printer you have (perhaps it just
doesn't have enough memory) or try printing only *this page*.

Hope this helps!
