calling windows api

Sorry again if this is a duplicate but my posts seems to be disappearing. I wanted to call the page setup api to retrieve the current margin and orientation set up for an Access report without the dialogue box displaying. I understand that this is possible with the flag PSD_RETURNDEFAULT but have been unsuccessful getting this to work. Does anyone have any sample VB code that accomplishes this
