Camtasia and powerpoint

hey guys, just read the tutorial on camtasia studio to capture a PPT file
and then with the tutorial convert to a dvd. This looks great. My question
is...

Will Camtasia pick up the sound files that are playing across the slide show
presentation? Either I missed it or it didn't discuss this. I know you can
add sound files in later but wondering if it captures the sound that you
have already placed in the PPT..

Thanks guys..--

Either capture the audio at the same time, (as Camtasia can record the
music....)

See these pages from the techsmith site that will help you with the audio

Or add the audio using camtasia producer after you have captured your
powerpoint pres as a video file

Have a look at version 2.1 of Camtasia studio - I believe this
functionality has been put into it.

Yes, Camtasia does capture the sound - alternatively, you can get the sound
inside the presentation within Camtasia's video editor interface.
