Can´t find original Office CD, now update doesn´t work.

Office 2000 user has problems with updat

Hi,

My Outlook kept shutting down wrong, and the crash report analysis told me
to download the update for office 2000. Now I need the original Office CD,
but I cannot find it (have moved twice).

Now I can´t start Excel anymore, because the program wants to finalize
installation of uodate - which is not possible without original CD.
If I abort the process, I get the error-message: 1706.

How can I undo all this? I´d rather work with faulty Outlook than without
Excel.
