Can a church legally use MS Office Student Edition

Can my church legally use MS Office Student Edition or do we need to buy a
full retail pack.
Alternatively we have just purchased a new PC, can we now buy OEM version to
install on it?
This is for non profit making activities.

As far as I know you can't use the students version but you are entitled to
use the educational version if you are a registered charity (in the UK, I
don't know about other countries)
