Access MDB isn't fast enough to work on flash drive

SQL Server works like a charm though

Work on the Access file while it's on your hard drive. When you're finished
for the day, make SURE Access is closed and then copy the file to your flash
drive. To use it at the other site, copy from the flash drive to the hard
drive.
Summary:
1. Do not use Access with the file on the flash drive because corruption is
more likely. Always copy the file to a hard disk drive and then open it from
there.
2. Make sure Access is closed before copying the file to the flash drive. If
Access is running, corruption is likely.

if a database is too flaky for real world use.. then maybe you should
use SQL Server

ADP works _GREAT_ over a WAN or VPN

MDB is for lamers and fucking retards
