Can A Pivot Table Filter a Date Range?

Is there a way to achieve a date range filter effect on a pivot table.
Something like a DateStart and DateEnd in the Page Fields section?

Also in Excel if you double-click on some data calculation in the Pivot Table
it shows you the data source (records) that were factored into the computation.
This doesn't seem to work in Access? Am I doing it wrong?
