I am using Access 2000 to write a recipe database and want to be able to
search for recipes using a variable number of criteria (up to 8). For
example, I might want to search for desserts whose name contains 'Apple';
another time I might want to search for Main meals, low fat, microwave...
Ideally I want a form that allows me to tick the search fields I want to use,
then enter the criteria (using combo boxes), and have it run the query based
on only the 'ticked' fields. Is this possible? In other words can Access run
a query based on a variable number of criteria as writing separate queries
for each possible combination of fields is unwieldy.
