Can a receptionist use outlook for message taking.

I have come from Groupwise environment where, a receptionist can take a phone
message by clicking on a pre-configured message pad and send it to an
individual electronically. Is there a way to do the same thing in Outlook,
short of sending an email.

I think that you could create a form for a phone message and then use File >
New > Choose Form.

So how do you create a form, place it by the tool bar so the receptionist can
access it quickly. No current form exists.
