Can a REMINDER trigger an EXECUTABLE?

Is there any way in Outlook 2003 for a Calendar reminder
to run an exe instead of playing a WAV file?

This question applies to Outlook as a POP client, and as
an Exchange client...

Only if you write code to do that. You would have to trap the
Application.Reminder event and run your EXE when that event fires.
