can a report be transferred into an editable Word doc?

Hi,

I would like to export a Project report into Word so that others can edit it
(not just read). I've been able to convert to Adobe, but it either is
converted into an image of a table or else into text without the formating,
depending on how I choose to convert. Either way I do not have a report that
can be actually be edited in Word.
I keep trying various solutions and it's driving me nuts.

p.s. I saw an earlier mail saying it should be possible with VBA? has anyone
tried that?
pps. Note: an editable Word doc, not an edible one!

Hi Zekie,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Project's reports are not editable. The only way to edit it to load the
file into a legal copy of Project. You might like to see FAQ Item: 16.
