Can A Spreadsheet Get Any Wider?

I realize this may be an elementary question to most, but I hope there'
a fix.

I'm making a spreadsheet that requires about 10 more columns (beyon
column number 256 --IV) than the normal new Excel file allows (to th
would-be column JE). Is there any way for me to extend the sheet an
add more columns?
