CAN ANYONE ACTUALLY USE MSmoney 2006???

I am pulling out my hair trying to use msmoney 2006 - the budget keeps
changing numbers (without me doing anything); and the spending tracker is
taking on 2 months of anticipated budget - there is NOTHING in the help
option that is relevant.
I have checked and double checked all of the categories and subcategories -
I CAN'T DO IT!!!
PLEASE HELP!!
