Can anyone help me to add .txt and sql files in shared documents?

I can view the .txt/.sql files from Shared documents using internet explorer
but I need to be able have the files with .txt and .sql extentions open up to
edit/make changes. Does anyone know out there how to do this in Project 2003.

You might try this one in a Sharepoint Group since the functionality you
are talking about is really Sharepoint. They might know how to do this.
