Can anyone help?

I created a gallery (I'm a writer/photographer) and chose the photo gallery
template in FP 2003. Because this is my living, I entered a script that has
always worked perfectly for me in the past (including FP 2000) to stop people
from stealing my work. It's a disable right click script. It works in the FP
"preview" mode just as it always has - but now after uploading the site to
the server, it doesn't work at all. I checked the source page and the script
is there, intact - but it no longer works. Can anyone help with this? I'm
exasperated... and I need to get this gallery up and running. I'm on a
deadline.

You can't protect your images on the web, so don't waste time with
no-right-click scripts which just p*ss people off that want to bookmark your
page.

Post a link the page having the problem so someone can help you.

"No right click" scripts can be easily disabled in FireFox and Opera.
There is no point in using them. Also, to be effective, you will have
to disable the menu bar - which has all the commands (and more) that are
on the right-click context menu.

Hi
Keep your images small and save as a medium to low quality jpg so if
someone tries to enlarge the image the quality suffers stopping prints being
made from your work
Dont use frontpage to size the images as this only displays the image at a
certain pixel ratio but downloads the image at its original size.
You can always watermark image like they do on the getty images site

Thank you - all of you who took the time to reply to my question. Paul, I think you have the right idea... although the page has only a small sampling, I'll be adding more as time permits. I'll just watermark my images then there's less of a problem. I'm displaying them at 72 dpi so that should help a little too.

Perhaps some of you might have some advice on this: I chose the vertical
layout in FP 2003. I'm happy with the index page and the thumbs - but when
you click on the thumb, it launches your browser as the viewer and I'd liketo
keep the same theme throughout the site: black background and centering the
photo (the larger version). Any advice on how I might go about this? I
downloaded a program called "Lightbox" which seems to have fairly good
reviews, but I haven't used it yet.

Thank You (all of you) from the bottom of my heart. I deeply appreciate your
time and generosity. This has been a frustrating project.

Hi Paul,

I have JAlbum and it's beautiful - I just can't seem to configure it. Have
you used it and if so, could you walk me through the set up? I'd be eternally
grateful!

What problems are you having?
Pick one of the album skins that you like. Generate your album into a folder
OUTSIDE of FP...mess around with it until you have it the way you want. Then
open FP and import that entire folder into FP, now you can tweak it.
