Can autofill just look at the first name ?

I have 2 users named Linda Christensen and Chris Brown. If I type Chris in
the to: line of outlook and try to send, it will prompt me by telling me it
found more than one Chris. It found Chris from the first name of Chris Brown
and Chris from the Chris in Linda Christensen.

Is there any way to have it only look for Chris if Chris is in the first
name and not the last name ?

You are talking about autoresolution, not autocompletion.
You cannot change the algorithm it uses.
