Can % complete be calculated for us?

We are using Server 2003, SP1. We use managed time periods, timesheets, and
report Hours worked and remaining work. We are trying to get EV working
correctly. Right now it looks like we have have to enter % complete manually
to get SPI and CPI to be calculated. I would prefer to let Project calculate
the % complete, instead of having to calculate it and enter it.

Any suggestions?

Open an enteprise project and click Tools - Options. Navigate to the
Calculation tab. Is the "Updating task status updates resource status"
option selected? If not, it needs to be selected in each enterprise project
before Microsoft Project will calculate the % Complete value for you. Let
us know if this helps.

Thanks, Dale. It took a while to track down all the projects that did not
have that flag set and correct them. It is now calculating % Complete and EV
for me.
