data is not, and cannot be, stored in a form. all data is stored in tables,
in Access. it is best to use a form to enter the data into a table, rather
than entering the data directly into the table. the easiest way to do this
is to create a form that is bound to the table - and the easiest and
quickest way to create a simple bound form is to:
1. open the database, and go to the Tables tab.
2. click once on the table you want, to select it.
3. on the toolbar, click the AutoForm button.
Access will create a bound form, with a control bound to each field in the
table. you can open the form and enter data, and the data will automatically
be stored in the form's underlying table.
sounds like you are very new to the Access software (we all started there).
