Can Excel Join files using a primary key?

I know how to do this in Access and in ACL - am I just dreaming or is there a way to join tables based on a primary key and with only using Excel?

Thank you,

RJK

What tables? Where are they? How and why do you want to join them?

Interesting question... If the join is one-to-one, then create a new
table using VLOOKUP(). However, if the join is not one-to-one? Can
that case be handled with functions, or would it be best done by
script....?

I'm still not sure what you are trying to do. Can you explain in more
detail? I can't suggest a solution unless I understand what your data looks
like and what you are trying to accomplish.

Hi,

Yes, you can do all SQL commands that don't do table manipulations.

Start Here:

I see that the web page says for Excel 2004, but it's the same in Excel
2008. No changes were made.
