On installation – I receive: unable to access configuration for Microsoft
personal web server. But then it successfully installs.
Then When I try to open a file in My Network Place – I Open:
www.mywebsite.com It starts to open and I see my files - I get – Microsoft
FP application File has encountered a problem it needs to Close. Error
Message: the instruction @ 0x73e6827a referenced memory @ 0x00146ffc. The
memory could not be “Read†then it terminates.??????
I am running Microsoft windows xp home edition.

Yes. You need to do a custom install and do not select the server-extensions content.

FP2000 will run on Windows XP Home without any problems. However, PWS will
never run on Windows XP Home - XP Home does not support any Microsoft Web
Server, nor does it support FPextensions with any other web server.

Remove PWS and use FrontPage with disc based webs. If you require a web
server, upgrade to Windows XP Pro, and install IIS.
