| Hi DD,
|
| Based on my research and testing in the Equation Editor, the long formula
| will not automatically be word-wraped. The equation object gets
elongated.
| The long formula in the Equation Editor will be out of the Word page.
There
| is not such an option to change this behaviour.
|
| How to format the equation object
| ===============
| 1. Right click the equation > choose Equation Object > Open to open the
| Equation Editor window.
| 2. Click the Format menu or the Style menu to change the equation format.
| 3. Click the Help menu > Equation Editor Help Topics to get the related
| help contents.
|
| If possible, send the document with long formulas (which is word wraped
to
| 2 or more lines) to me at (e-mail address removed). Thus, we can address
the
| issue more efficiently.
|
| If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't
| hesitate to contact me.
|
| Sincerely,
|

| | Our lead math engineer is having a secretary type up his handwritten
| notes,
| | primarily hundreds of long formulas, using Equation Editor. When she
| types
| | formulas long enough to word wrap to 2 or more lines, the opening
square
| | bracket gets elongated and includes all the lines. He wants it to stay
| only
| | one line high. What configuration change can I make for our secretary
to
| | keep the bracket from stretching?
| |
| | Thanks!!
