Can GUI Editor generate resource files like Visual Studio?

I was wondering if the GUI editor in Visio can export files as resource files to be compiled into programs like the GUI editor in Visual Studio can? For example drawing a window with combo boxes, menus, etc. Or is the Visio GUI editor just purely for layout?
