Can I add links to other documents in a Visio drawing?

I'm using Visio Standard 2003. I'd like to be able to add hypertext links to
the objects in a block diagram that would take one to any pertinent
documentation about that object, a data sheet for example.

try something like this
al

1.. Select the shape you want to add a hyperlink to
2.. On the Insert menu, click Hyperlinks.
3.. In the Address box, click Browse, and then click Local File.
4.. Navigate to the file you want you want to link to, and click Open.
5.. In the Hyperlinks dialog box, under Description, type the text you
want to use for the hyperlink and click OK.
When you pause the pointer over the shape, the pointer changes to indicate
that the shape has a hyperlink. To jump to the hyperlinked diagram,
right-click the shape, and then click the text you entered for the
hyperlink.

Thanks Al,
I figured it was relatively simple, I just couldn't find it in "Help".

If you know how to create bookmarks in a Word document or named cells in a
spreadsheet, you can even cause the hyperlink to open the target document
directly at the named location. Not only is this very cool but it is much
more effective if the target doc is large and you want to prevent the user
from having to rummage through the document to find the relevant section.

You can also jump to a specific page name in a target Visio drawing. Though
Powerpoint doesn't allow you to name things, you can jump to a specific slide
number.

To do any of the above, enter the target name/number in the Subaddress field
in the Visio hyperlink dialog.
