Can I add my Microsoft Office to my new laptop?

I already owned Office 2007 for my desktop. Then I purchased a laptop. This
was about a year ago. I sent a question asking if I can upload my existing
program to my new laptop. I received NO reply. Am using my laptop more now
and need Word on it. Can I use my same program on my laptop without further
charges?

The answer to your question depends on what version of Office 2007 you have
and how you acquired it.

For many people, Office is installed on their computer by the computer
maker. This is almost always an OEM version of Office, which cannot be
legally installed on any other computer.

The web is an excellent source of information. Simply open the search engine
of your choice and look for the answer to any question.

Do you have the box containing your original Office software?

On mine it says:-

"Licensed for non-commercial use on up to 3 personal computers".

If my comments have helped please hit Yes.

Open Word, press Office Button, Word Options, Resources, About, View the
Microsoft Software License Terms. The document which is displayed will tell
you how many copies of the product you can legally install.

Did you read the EULA?
