Can I add page numbers manually?

page numbers on document are not continuous due to a section break. How do I
add the numbers manually?

You don't need to add the numbers manually to correct this. Just go into the
section after the section break, and format the page numbers to continue
from the previous section.

It's safest to do this from Header and Footer view - Format page number is a
button on the H&F toolbar.
