Can I adjust the cursor thickness

The cursor that blinks when typing is now a thick black line not slender as
it used to be. How can I change it back ? It appears thick in all
applications as well as when I make an insertion in the address line.

Go to Control Panel > Accessibility Options > Display (tab).
Under "Cursor Options", move the "Width" slider all the way
to the left (narrow) and click APPLY.
